What is Easy Surround feature?
Easy Surround is perfect when you play games or watch movies. It creates a realistic immersive audio experience with multiple speakers placed around you.
It combines your internal speakers or other external speakers (USB, jack, HDMI) placed in front of you, with a Bluetooth speaker placed behind you to immerse you into the scene.
You will be able to feel the surround sound by playing an adapted content: 5.1 or 7.1 on your favorite game or movie.
Be sure to connect a Bluetooth speaker to your PC before using Easy Surround feature.

How can I access Easy Surround feature?
You will find Easy Surround feature as a new tab into Nahimic UI if you are in the following conditions:
- Easy Surround is only available on some specific PC brands: Lenovo and MSI
- for MSI users, Easy Surround feature will be only available for latest generations running on Nahimic driver 4.x.x
If you are in these conditions but do not see Easy Surround feature into Nahimic interface, make sure Nahimic app and driver are up to date. Updates go throught Microsoft store for the app and Windows update for the driver. You can also use our generic restore tool to

I have set up Easy Surround but I can't hear any sound coming out from my BT speaker?
Be aware Easy Surround feature is optimized when the audio source is providing 5.1 or 7.1 audio format. As the feature is using the audio information from the rear channels to be played into the Bluetooth speaker.
Make sure the application you use (game, Netflix or others) is providing multichannel audio format for a perfect experience.
If you're using stereo content, you can also enjoy a limited experience by activating our Surround effect in Nahimic audio tab. Depending on the app which is playing audio you might have some sound in the rear BT speaker but the feature is not well

What type of speaker can I use as rear speaker?
For now, only Bluetooth speaker can be selected as rear speaker to use Easy Surround feature. Any Bluetooth speaker can do the job, just make sure to connect it to your PC before starting the configuration.

What type of speakers can I use as front speakers?
You can use your internal speakers or any external speakers connected through USB, HDMI or 3.5mm jack as front device to enjoy Easy Surround feature. For instance, you can combine your HDMI monitor speakers with one Bluetooth speaker to create a more realisic surround sound effect.

Can I tune separately the volume for front and rear speaker ?
Yes, there’s a separate volume bar for front speaker and rear speaker, so you can adjust accordingly based on your need.

There is a delay between my front and rear speakers when I'm using Easy Surround, how do I handle this?
If you can feel a delay between your front device (i.e: internal speakers) and your rear device (Bluetooth speakers) you can use the "Delay" bar to adjust the latency. As latency is mainly due to hardware (from Bluetooth technology), if the latency is really important, we suggest you to change a Bluetooth speaker to a more recent one.
