  • I plugged in an external sound card and Nahimic doesn’t support it. Why?

Nahimic Support · 1 · Last reply by ron davison

External sound cards have their own drivers, audio processing and software which are completely independent of Nahimic.

  • Nahimic’s effects don’t seem to work on the S/PDIF and Optical devices I plugin. Why ?

    Nahimic Support · 0 · Posted

S/PDIF and Optical devices are not supported by Nahimic because they are often used for specific audio experiences that we do not want to affect.

If you plug one in, your driver will detect them, but Nahimic’s UI will remain disabled on audio page to show that Nahimic’s effects won’t be applied either to the S/PDIF or to the Optical.

To choose a Nahimic compatible device, you can click on the disabled audio and / or microphone pages: a message will then appear, inviting you to choose an available and compatible device.
