In order to update Nahimic driver, please launch the attached tool that will process to detect your hardware, check your system updates, clean and install everything needed to get Nahimic working again with latest driver updates.
Managed to get my audio working after using the provided tool here. Asrock drivers Realtek sucks big time. Does not work at all. MS diagnostics tool point at the driver being bad. That drove me to find this page using Nahimic app. ((thankfully).
But seriously, this is the first time I am seeing audio driver provided by motherboard manufacturer being so screwed up.
If there is nothing called Nahimic in Device Manager -> Software Components.
Then it indicates that your computer is not built for Nahimic, then you must contact the manufacturer of your computer. And then it doesn't help that you complain here to Nahimic, because Nahimic has nothing to do with this.
Hi, new here. Ok I have a 10th Gen MSI laptop that uses Nahimic 3. Try the above Restore Tool & it proceeded to install older drivers. I had to use Windows Update to put in the latest ones. So my take is & I have 1.0.5 Restore tool too . If 1.0.7 is their latest it needs to be updated. It installed 3 drivers ALL older than what Windows Update has had for months. An older audio, mirroring & I forget the other one. Kind of a shame to come here & get last years Nahimic 3. Oh well, I tried. And yes it still worked, but still older. The Microsoft Store is not the place to go to except for A Volute, as far as my experience. Updating order? Different updates come out all the time. Realtek I always do 1st if Nahimic has one too. Otherwise order? I followed MSI/Nahimic recommended order, it's "It's all bullshit". Realtek's InstallShield setup.exe is all junk in your trunk. I found 9 gigs of 6.0.9652 in my Drivers Store, drivers for every computer ever made that uses Realtek audio. Then if you use Realtek's uninstaller, it will remove all Nahimic stuff, all Intel audio drivers & then break you audio too. That's All Bullshit! I no longer use Realtek's Audio InstallShield POS setup.exe. Good luck out there. Maybe someday Nahimic will come out with one installer for their audio instead of the 3 or 4 one needs to install now.

that's not necessarily true. i find myself having to reload all my stuff after the factory installed SSd failed. process is being eased by having the factory restore media available, but not by much. my system came with nahimic 3 installed, but after upgrading from default win10 1803 > win10 22h2 > win11 23h2 > win11 24h2 , nahimic was no longer working properly. the devices (which i know for a fact should have been there listed in software components (a-volute nh3 driver) was not. the restore tool was not fixing it either. I had to install and older version that registered the drivers using pnputil.exe before the avolute driver would appear. THEN the restore tool worked properly.

Wishful thinking, bigly time! Newsflash, that reset button is for dummies. Most the time when sumtin/software/Windows is broken. That reset button will AIWAYS be useless. You can try, but for how many hours? Check your other apps to see if their broken too. I ended up using System Restore to fix busted software because sometimes there is no simple fix.

Or your installation skills sucks, i have zero issues with it because i know the order how to install it.
1st install your realtek audio driver
2nd install your intel smart sound technology driver
3rd install nahimic
When a new driver releases (realtek) and you install it using their installer then nahimic gets auto deleted. To fix it reinstall nahimic AFTER the realtek update.
Michel, don't be ridiculous. Even with the correct drivers installed, there's no way to download Nahimic itself except through the Microsoft Store and then it just doesn't work. The restore tool is useless, the GG thing takes ages to download even though it's only a couple hundred MB and it also doesn't do shit. I can't believe Lenovo chose this mess of a company as their official partner. What a joke.
Ok but the problem is I've done all those exact things you've done and even reinstalled windows and then updated all Windows updates and etc that needs to be updated and boom back to it not working so whatever you did worked your way but sadly for others who use MSI and etc we do not have a solution. And we shouldn't have to do all that if it's a "Restore Tool" because some people don't want to have to go and do all those extra steps just to use the sound on the computer. I've done everything you did and even reached out to support via live chat and did remote assistance and they couldn't even figure it out so before you say someone sucks at installation and doesn't have the skills I'd check my own facts before actually handing out more Intel that doesn't work like this dumb restoration tool that doesn't work!

i was having this too. i needed top have the avolute nh3 driver properly registered with the os before the tool will work. you will. need a copy of the proper drivers, in order to run the following script, but it *should* fix the issue, assuming your system is made to run nahimic 3

Yeah i am sure it is a bug causing that and i hope they get it fixed to make it stable.
First delete the nahimic app from your computer and then use the restoretool, it will automatically install the app again. For me it worked :)

just happen to me, my headphone its connected but do not produce any sound, so i update my BIOS using Lenovo System Update then it WORK NORMALY!
I had the same thing. I just went to services and activated it manualy and for now it seems to be working like it should.
my Legion 5 pro got problem with laptop mic. Im pretty sure it is because the window update.

Для моего ноутбука на официальном сайте Lenovo были доступны только драйверы для Windows 11. Я решил попробовать их установить на Windows 10. Драйверы установились без проблем, но звука всё ещё не было.
Затем я установил программу Nahimic, предназначенную для Windows 10.
После установки Nahimic, исчез из диспетчера устройств, но звук наконец-то заработал.

i have the same issue, and i tried reinstalling Realtek audio driver and the Nahimic driver and app but nothing worked, i think i just accidently deleted something that were named SteelSeries 2 days ago from the control panel and now today i tried using Nahimic and it wouldn't work.
my laptop is the MSI GF75 Thin 9SC, i tried reinstalling its audio driver from the MSI page itself and still didnt work.

Cтояла 11 винда - все работало, но мне 11 не зашла, откатился до 10, теперь динамики ноута в трубу закатались. Клоню на то что не могу на 10 винду драйвера скачать с Леновского офф сайта.

Не получается обновить драйвера Nahimic (1), поскольку во время этого процесса возникает ошибка (2).
На данный момент установлены все последние обновления windows 10 (ноутбук honor magicbook 15).
Примечательно, что никакие из способов обновления драйверов, описанные некоторыми пользователями тут, мне не помогли.

Только что скачал опять restore tool 1.3.5 с этой страницы, он обновил драйвери всё заработало. Ноут GIGABYTE Aorus 7 KB. До этого вообще ничего не помогало. Перед этим, как все получилось, winows 10 обновления устанавливал пару раз. Обновитесь, попробуйте

First install FX Sound, use it for 3 days, then install Nehemic until a conflicting application statement appears, after that install NahimicRestoreTool_1.0.5.exe, don't restart it first, but delete the FX Sound application, & restart your laptop. Hopefully it works.
