Amigos, tengo una solución. Yo descargué Nahimic de la Microsoft Store ya que se me hace menos complicado y totalmente automatizado. Tenia el mismo problema que ustedes. Les comparto link de DRIVERS nahimic para instalar desde DEVICE MANAGER/Sound, video and game Controller, buscan la carpeta ya descomprimida y marcan que igual subcarpetas e instalan. https://global.machenike.com/es/products/l16pro2023 ( descargan el que dice "Controlador de Audio" )
Son de la marca de mi laptop pero al final drivers nahimic. Después de instalarlos, con la herramienta mencionada aquí "NahimicRestoreTool_1.0.7.exe se actualiza, reiniciarán el equipo y podrán usar el nahimic sin problema alguno. Espero les sirva.
Ok, let me break it down for You really easy. I don't care if You moved on to v4 apo. I've bought B550 Unify X board and i PAID for nahimic v3 APO which works. In win 11 24h2 nahimic DOESN't work. So get to work guys and make it work. I've paid for it and I dont care Youy had a change of mood. This is a lawsuit material. I will be writing to MSI to complain and ask for refund if You won't get Your job done. For everybody concerned. Watch out - nahimic v3 APO doesn't work in Win11 24h2. Also, nahimic doesn't want to provide suppoprt for their customers who bought expensive hardware. They use the cheapest excuse ever - they made v4 apo so they focus on that. But they forget they sold a working products. This is what You call a proffessionall "company"? I will write everywhere possible to make You get Your job done. Maybe steelseries will have something to say about that.
yes me too, I have also followed what they suggested but it still doesn't work on Windows 11 24H2, and finally I disabled the service from nahimic and really switched to viper4sound or dolby. goodbye nahimic

Don't ya love it when they tell you "hey download this 4mb tool" and then after you get the tool it proceeds to download some gigabytes.
Just try to open the tool 1.0.7 as an administrator it will work fine
hello, i really want to try out the easy surround software out, but it just seems like it isnt working at all, while in the setup screen, where you sync your speakers, both speakers work, but when trying to play music or videos, only the main speaker is working, and the bluetooth speaker doesnt work at all, also the audio sample in the nahimic app also works on both speakers, so i dont know if there is something wrong with my laptop or wit the software.
So guys I found a sollution to your audio going wack! You wont be able to use Nahimic so if you don't mind Nahimic being unavailable, follow my guide.
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to System
3. Go to Sound
4. Scroll down to All Sound Devices
5. Make sure to mute all sound devices with "SteelSeries", make sure to mute the Output as well as Input devices from Steelseries, to mute click on the sound device you want to mute and drag the volume button all the way to the Left
6. Close settings, and restart your device!
This should work because if you follow these steps you completely cut Nahimic off from accessing your audio system and they can't alter the output sound.
Hope this works for you I've been looking for this 2 months now but I managed to come up with the solutuon myself wow!

Do NOT use the NahimicRestoreTool_1.0.7.exe, USE v1.0.5 INSTEAD!! This is NOT a driver issue, it's their Nahimic app problem!!
I'm literally experiencing this critical error over and over again, even after using the tool Nahimic provides. How can I get rid of this god darn error? Now I have to live with reduced audio quality and clarity.
Trust me I know. I haven't had good quality audio in over 2 months and nothing they do fixes it. It's like they truly don't care about there users anymore ..like come on nahimic ..can you just release a whole new program that will work. Sonar sucks !

i don't have a problem helping you out, i am just unsure on how to exchange private contact info without everyone else and their second cousin's brother seeing it as well. just because you might be not have any nefarious need of that info, doesn't mean other don't either. openly posting that stuff is dangerous security wise.

I have been successful in restoring Nahimic. That tool worked just fine for me... I hope others can fix their issues as well.
how did you get it to work?? i have an msi vector gp66 12ugs and it still didnt work!
I downloaded the tool, ran the tool, allowed it to restart right away, logged back in, the tool automatically checked the tool worked... Nahimic was up and running again.
To clarify, I am using a X570 Ace mobo. I am shocked that this has affected so many people, yet the tool does not work for so many.

Managed to get my audio working after using the provided tool here. Asrock drivers Realtek sucks big time. Does not work at all. MS diagnostics tool point at the driver being bad. That drove me to find this page using Nahimic app. ((thankfully).
But seriously, this is the first time I am seeing audio driver provided by motherboard manufacturer being so screwed up.
If there is nothing called Nahimic in Device Manager -> Software Components.
Then it indicates that your computer is not built for Nahimic, then you must contact the manufacturer of your computer. And then it doesn't help that you complain here to Nahimic, because Nahimic has nothing to do with this.
Hi, new here. Ok I have a 10th Gen MSI laptop that uses Nahimic 3. Try the above Restore Tool & it proceeded to install older drivers. I had to use Windows Update to put in the latest ones. So my take is & I have 1.0.5 Restore tool too . If 1.0.7 is their latest it needs to be updated. It installed 3 drivers ALL older than what Windows Update has had for months. An older audio, mirroring & I forget the other one. Kind of a shame to come here & get last years Nahimic 3. Oh well, I tried. And yes it still worked, but still older. The Microsoft Store is not the place to go to except for A Volute, as far as my experience. Updating order? Different updates come out all the time. Realtek I always do 1st if Nahimic has one too. Otherwise order? I followed MSI/Nahimic recommended order, it's "It's all bullshit". Realtek's InstallShield setup.exe is all junk in your trunk. I found 9 gigs of 6.0.9652 in my Drivers Store, drivers for every computer ever made that uses Realtek audio. Then if you use Realtek's uninstaller, it will remove all Nahimic stuff, all Intel audio drivers & then break you audio too. That's All Bullshit! I no longer use Realtek's Audio InstallShield POS setup.exe. Good luck out there. Maybe someday Nahimic will come out with one installer for their audio instead of the 3 or 4 one needs to install now.

that's not necessarily true. i find myself having to reload all my stuff after the factory installed SSd failed. process is being eased by having the factory restore media available, but not by much. my system came with nahimic 3 installed, but after upgrading from default win10 1803 > win10 22h2 > win11 23h2 > win11 24h2 , nahimic was no longer working properly. the devices (which i know for a fact should have been there listed in software components (a-volute nh3 driver) was not. the restore tool was not fixing it either. I had to install and older version that registered the drivers using pnputil.exe before the avolute driver would appear. THEN the restore tool worked properly.

Wishful thinking, bigly time! Newsflash, that reset button is for dummies. Most the time when sumtin/software/Windows is broken. That reset button will AIWAYS be useless. You can try, but for how many hours? Check your other apps to see if their broken too. I ended up using System Restore to fix busted software because sometimes there is no simple fix.

Exactly I don't see how they are helping by automating the same message which isn't the fix and it's basically useless I haven't been able to use it over a months nd I've done everything they have said and more !
Or your installation skills sucks, i have zero issues with it because i know the order how to install it.
1st install your realtek audio driver
2nd install your intel smart sound technology driver
3rd install nahimic
When a new driver releases (realtek) and you install it using their installer then nahimic gets auto deleted. To fix it reinstall nahimic AFTER the realtek update.
Michel, don't be ridiculous. Even with the correct drivers installed, there's no way to download Nahimic itself except through the Microsoft Store and then it just doesn't work. The restore tool is useless, the GG thing takes ages to download even though it's only a couple hundred MB and it also doesn't do shit. I can't believe Lenovo chose this mess of a company as their official partner. What a joke.
Ok but the problem is I've done all those exact things you've done and even reinstalled windows and then updated all Windows updates and etc that needs to be updated and boom back to it not working so whatever you did worked your way but sadly for others who use MSI and etc we do not have a solution. And we shouldn't have to do all that if it's a "Restore Tool" because some people don't want to have to go and do all those extra steps just to use the sound on the computer. I've done everything you did and even reached out to support via live chat and did remote assistance and they couldn't even figure it out so before you say someone sucks at installation and doesn't have the skills I'd check my own facts before actually handing out more Intel that doesn't work like this dumb restoration tool that doesn't work!
MichelN86, realtek is pure bullshit, it forces me to download an outdated driver update from like 2002, and it keeps on telling me the same bullshit without letting me hear a single damn thing, i wonder why stuff like this exist, when a simple engine can reroute your computer entirely.
