In order to update Nahimic driver, please launch the attached tool that will process to detect your hardware, check your system updates, clean and install everything needed to get Nahimic working again with latest driver update.
Use cmd.exe and pnputil:
Somtimes just a reset is all you need:
Find your device-ID' via CMD.exe
Then turn it Off and back on again
like so:
pnputil /disable-device "ACPI\CLSA0100\1"
pnputil /enable-device "ACPI\CLSA0100\1"
(Here you would be clecver to use create 2 bat-files :
"ON.bat" + "Off.bat"... so you can do this every tinme effortlessly

Does anyone know why, if I enable Nahimic speakers and set them as the default audio output device for Windows, I can't hear anything, and my PC has no sound at all?
I’ve tried installing this on my Legion 5 multiple times but it never worked. It always said there was a critical driver update. I saw a comment suggesting that installing the Generic Nahimic Restore Tool might be work and it really did for me. Here's the 🔗LINK hope it helps!

Is is really that hard to just give users a real good sound card instead of that problematic cheap realtek shit and adding so much bloatware to just make it sound acceptable?
You know what is hillarious? A 2008 LGA775 motherboard from asus i have, an P5Q3 Deluxe, its SoundMAX 2000B soundcard sounds 100 times better with ms basic drivers, than this sh*t with all its crapware.

Do not absolutely update as you will not be able to operate the volume. Uninstalling driver and software didn't fix the problem.
So, I had to clean install windows.

After updating audio drivers or reinstalling Windows, Nahimic only shows the "Intelligent Mode" UI with no sound effects, equalizer, surround sound, or voice/bass/treble controls. The necessary services might be missing or not running.
Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, then uninstall:

✅ Nahimic (if present)
✅ Nahimic Companion (if present)
➡️ Then restart your PC.
Go to your laptop’s official support page:

This step is crucial to re-enable all functions and restore compatibility.
Press Win + R, type services.msc, press Enter.
Make sure these two services are present and running:
✅ NahimicService
✅ NahimicSvc64
Equalizer, Surround Sound, Volume Stabilizer all working
Voice, Bass, Treble adjustment available
No more limited interface or missing features
Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings
Open the Hardware tab → Click Device Installation Settings
Select: ❌ No (your device might not work as expected)

Finally got solution for nh3 win11/10.
Just uninstall to the bone all realtek and nahimic apps, then uninstall all sound devices drivers untill show some unknown devices. Then should start preinstalling by windows a-volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component(Nahimic 3 APO) old ver. 3.5.0 etc, and nahimic mirroring device old ver. 2.0.1, specifically for your motherboard version.
You can find it in your mobo drivers MSI-NahimicRestoreTool-APO3-SWCv3.7.0.0-EXTv1.2.0.0.exe
You can update realtek hd drivers and nahimic 3 uwp whatever ver. you want but uncheck mirroring and bt updating, use mods like aaf family dch etc.

I did try switching to Sonar, but i ended up going back to Nahimic 3. Nahimic seems much easier to use and more functional than sonar. Nahimic 3 also has some features that Sonar lacks.

which msi laptop are you using? mine is a ge73 raider 8re. i dont think that file is compatible with my system.
Cybot esto me ha funcionado, tengo un equipo lenovo y tenia el mismo problema, la solución:
1.- Desinstalar la aplicación Nahimic.
2.- Desisntalar en Administrador de Dispositivos el driver de sonido Nahimic y los de Realteck.
3.- Descargar desde la pagina de Lenovo segun el modelo de PC o driver de sonido en tu caso desde la pagina de MSI segun el modelo de tu laptop.
4.- Reinstalar la aplicación de Nahimic.
Espero que les sirva a mi me funciono.

your MSI GE73 Raider 8RE laptop (8th gen Intel cpu series) likely uses Nahimic APO3 (not APO4 in which that one is used in 11th gen Intel cpus & newer) - might need this specific package from the MSI site as well as an updated Realtek audio driver like 6.0.9828.1.
@Hydrax: this is the newest Nahimic APO4 restore package for 11th gen Intel and AMD Ryzen 4000/5000 series and newer MSI laptops
I found that the drivers on Microsoft Update Catalog A-Volute - AudioProcessingObject are more up-to-date and not only suitable for MSI computers.

it took me 1 month just to figure on how to get this nahimik to take effects on sound and it worth its tryings because now i feel like i got +100% sound boost for integrated in laptop speakers,now sound is louder than cooler fans.........1) download the driver store explorer and using this tool delete evrething named with nahimik,realtek and a-volute using "force deletion" 2) go to windows updater ,let it to install evrething missed 3) run the nahimik restore tool,you even dont need to reboot,just go to nahimik app and feel how wondeful it tweaks your sound

no, Darkhai. don't expect an "immediate" fix, mostly because you have not specified what kind of computer or motherboard you are using, which makes things much harder for you and for others to determine what kind of fix you need
It's an MSI Sword 15 A12UGS gaming laptop. The Motherboard is MSI. I don't know how to get the name of the motherboard.
I have another post, also from 7 hours ago. It shows what issue I have but I think I've told you what my build is even if I didn't get the motherboard name, just who it was built by. With the problem at persistence, I may just have to switch to Sonar.
i found that even though the tool says it was successful, it is not always installing the latest files. and windows update doesn't always catch the new driver as availible. BUT, I found that checking for windows updates using Microsoft PC Manager DOES show the updated drivers and will allow you to begin installation, nahimic immediately started working after the update got installed.
Guys I think I found a solution to this problem. First you need to delete Nahimic, then you go to "Device Manager" and find "Sound,video and game controllers", open it you will see some items belonging to Nahimic and Realtek(R) Audio (note that you only need to delete Nahimic and Realtek items), delete them. Then you go to the website of the computer manufacturer you are using (mine is Lenovo so I will go to Lenovo's website) download the Audio Driver back to your computer, then you just need to reinstall Nahimic on Microsoft Store. I dropped and used the Nahimic Restore file many times but it still did not fix the error so I asked AI for a solution, it gave me this way and I followed it, finally I fixed Nahimic

The first thing happened is that Windows Audio Enhancement which need to be turned on to allow Nahimic features work properly, getting going crazy, I stopped to hear music, just ragged and muffled sounds.. So I have turned Windows Audio Enhancement option OFF, and it was ok then. But Nahimic features, like equalizer, or surround or other features buttons that made music sounds louder - stop working.
After I have decided to reinstall driver by the link, I have the same issue.
How to make Nahimic work properly with Windows Audio Enhancement been on to here music and sound again? And how to install it now?

I used the restore tool 3 times. Ran it as "administrator" on the 3rd try. I don't know if it was the multiple restores or the admin. Hope this helps someone
