It's kinda hard to explain but after a full Cleaninstall of windows the error was persistent.
If I freshly opened Firefox and go to a YouTube video the effects are powerful noticeable and "like it's supposed to be" but going to a second video, pausing the video or even reloading the same video with F5 the effects loose their "power". I can only reset this by completely restarting Firefox and then again only for one video where I can't even jump to my last view time cause it will loose it again...
To note here is that switching nahimic off
I purchased an MSI GX63VR this past December and I've been grappling with this issue since then. I've gone around in circles with Realtek and MSI, I've factory reset my PC multiple times, installed drivers in the proper order over and over again, even installed a clean version of Windows 10 trying to get this fixed, and I have come to the conclusion that it is your software suite that needs to be fixed. I know others have posted the same issue, and I am here to try to get it resolved once and for all. I just made a
The drivers just stop working. had that issue with 14393.939 as well BEFORE the Creators Update.
The driver stops working for whatever reason. uninstalling the 2+ driver and reinstalling does work but I'm tired of reinstalling it.
I can change from the different modes, movie to the others and can hear the changes but, now as it usually does, it doesn't change the quality of the sound. added: sound quality is completely lost as well.
Please fix this!

I am using RealTek driver 22.214.171.12459 and Nahimic 2.5.5 on an MSI GT80 Titan.
I have a MSI GT83VR 7RE with Windows 10 Build 14393.969
My Realtek driver is 126.96.36.19959
I installed the latest Nahimic 2 - Version 2.5.5 from the website and it seems to work fine.
My complaint is on every boot, I get two errors with a popup that must be dismissed.
I have completely uninstalled Nahimic and the error goes away. I reinstalled and the error returns.
I am the developer of Wallpaper Engine on Steam ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/431960/Wallpaper_Engine/ ). Nahimic is an application injecting DLL hooks that make Wallpaper Engine crash and bug, leaving our customers puzzled about what's wrong. There doesn't seem to be a way for them to configure Nahimic so that it can be running without breaking Wallpaper Engine.
Please exclude Wallpaper Engine from your hooks: the audio hook which breaks WASAPI loopback recording and the OSD hook which makes the whole program crash. I don't think it is beneficial to have them here, since Wallpaper Engine is always running in the background. So
Anytime I attempt to use Nahimic after updating to the newest Windows 10 update, I am met with the issue "nahimic encoded format detected" in an popup window within the Nahimic app. This window flickers open and closed rapidly and does not respond to any inputs. I'm unsure how to resolve this issue, and it has rendered the app unusable for me, while headphones are inserted into my laptop (MSI GS60 - 6QE).
Iam on windows 10 Pro Version 1703(Build 15063.138; latest creators Patch). I haven a MSI 970A GAMING PRO CARBON Motherboard and installed the latest
Realtek Driver (188.8.131.5205 https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/support/970A-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#down-driver&Win10 64 )
and the Nahimic 2 Software (2.5.6 https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/support/970A-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#down-utility&Win10 64)
And when I start Nahimic 2+ (also checked 2.3.15) the Volume Sliders for Master Volume and Mic Volume are not working at all. Also the Mute Button and the device Button above the Volume Slider is showwing the menu, but the settings are not working in there. And when I switch from Audio to any other Menu (Mic, Sound Recorder...) I can't switch back
Hi, I have updated my nahimic driver to 2.3.21 and suddenly the music becomes soft. previously i dont have to crank the volume around 50-60% to have good quality music from the speakers. Now i crank it to the max and it sounded soft and felt bassless and the music has no depth.
I am using the MSI GE62 7RE Pro. Please help Nahimic. I want back my good old quality music quality. Now it sounded lifeless.
I had Nahimic for Msi and its music section didnt work. Then i thought that there should be an uptdate for my app and i found the update file. I updated realtek to 6.0.1 then started the update nahimic 2.3.4 and it reported me that the installation has failed. Then i looked this site for my problem and saw this link
i thought maybe that kind of a problem is my update problem. I ve done this steps and installed realtek again. Then i started nahimic 2.3.4 installation again and I am still taking this problem.
Your audio driver is simply too taxing on the system. Your audio driver was the sole reason my Witcher 3 was stuttering every 5 seconds. Upon uninstalling your software the issue vanished completely and many of my other games saw outright performance increases. Please look into optimizing your software and researching to remove conflictions with games and other software. As it stands your software is quite literally game breaking and it will be OFF of my system until such a time that it is not.

This is an ongoing problem. I'm on a MSI GT72VR 6RE which uses the realtek version of Nahimic.
I just recently installed the driver listed above and the sound drops out. I have bad hearing as it is but I know the driver dies when my sound drops down to hard to hear levels. when I switch from the different modes, Movie, Music and so forth, you can tell when it is working the changes in the sound quality based upon each modes settings.
I'm still stuck with uninstalling the whole driver package, then reinstall the driver and it works
I have been noticing that whenever I attempt to copy and paste, "C:\Users\Robbie\AppData\Local\Temp\PRODUCT_NAME_UNKNOWN_CrashDumpPRODUCT_VERSION_MAJOR_UNKNOWN-PRODUCT_VERSION_MINOR_UNKNOWN-2018-11-11--07-52-45_.dmp" shows up. After going to this file location and reading the file, it would appear that "NahimicSvc32" is the issue. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling my realtek audio drivers that "NahimicSvc32" came in but nothing is seeming to work.
I gave every possible solution a shot but still Nahimic isn't something that I would recommend even to my most hated individuals.
Software feels unresponsive and loading times/opening it up is a nightmare. The Nahimic Enhancements cuts out on Firefox HTML5 content even after months of "working together with Firefox to fix it ASAP". The problem with sound forces me to choose/use another browser for HTML5 content (Youtube in my case) which is nothing to be taken lightly.
Latest version synchronises MSI version with the original (why where these separated at all).
Nahimic crashes several audio/-visual softwares (as it seems
Hi, i'm on a laptop MSI GE72 6QF Apache Pro, running Windows 10.
The sound in videogames is crackling and making the whole computer slower for a second. I tried everything but notjing seems to be working so far
- The sound doesn't crack if i intall Realtek alone but it's just shitty
- Realtek panel is not working anymore nor appears in Windows Control panel, unless i install an older version like 2.76. But in that case, Nahimic wont instal because Realtek is too old.
- i tried Nahimic 2.3.0 and 2.3.7, same problem
- everything else is updated, nvidia,
