crash overwatch

https://us.battle.net/forums/en/overwatch/topic/20760285869#1

Some of this is definitely problems in overwatch.

The nahimic crash is maybe something from ctrl-alt-deling overwatch.  There's also a possibility that, possibly the whole thing was caused by nahimic if nahimic intercepts keys for features and that somehow interfered with something?

Hi Peter!

I've seen your post and I've talked with the team about this.
It's more like because the kernel base was bugging that our dll was affected. You killed Overwatc so there is a lot of dll loading and removing in a short time.

We are not intercepting keys :)

Thanks for your message, if the problem happens again, please come back and we will try to reproduce it ASAP :)

I think maybe I commented on the wrong thing.  I've gotten this about ten more times.  And someone suggested this "https://nahimic.helprace.com/i380-nahimic2svc32-exe-causing-major-keyboard-lag/1/votes"  Further, the nahimic driver crash on reboot can occur, even when everything is exited gracefully, no ctrl-alt-del, as with my comment earlier.  And then I realized that I get these Microsoft IME hangs periodically and I assumed that was their IME... but what if somehow it was nahimic also?  I don't have the audio launchpad thing turned on, but is it hooking the keyboard somehow anyway?  Are there any hotkeys that nahimic listens for?

Got the exact same error.  Same nahimic crash on rebooting.  And doesn't nahimic allow you to store audio clips and play them back?  And it does that without catching any keys?

Got it again, this time I ctrl-alt-del nothing, still got the nahimic crash when I rebooted.

Just uninstall the nahimic software completely, it is not needed (at least for my msi z270 mainboard). For me the realtek driver is enough to have installed, I dont need this strange software. Here is my eventlog entry, I did not press ctrl-alt-delete, I forced windows to shut down AFTER the error was logged in eventlog (sry its in german btw):
